Multidimensional masterpiece from star choreographer McGregor.
In Ravel’s La valse and in the dancing musical language of Pulitzer Prize winner Tania León the London Philharmonic Orchestra unleashes its full force. In Harnasie we get more dance, along with algorithms and technology. In this ballet-pantomime Karol Szymanovski’s masterful pen tells the story of a young bride who is abducted by a robber gang on the day of her wedding. Szymanovski’s music and choreographer Wayne McGregor’s amazing multidimensional approach immerse us in a radically new orchestral experience. The story of Harnasie is reimagined through the use of human and digital intelligence, taking the form of a kinetic, sculptural video installation that will be suspended above the orchestra on the stage. Goosebumps guaranteed!
