Discover the power of Earth’s forces.

Celebrated broadcaster Kate Humble – known for BBC’s SpringwatchWild in Africa and Into the Volcano – explores Earth as a living, breathing force, constantly shifting and renewing itself.

In this pre-concert talk, hosted by geologist Professor Iain Stewart, Kate is joined by composer Gustavo Díaz-Jerez, whose piano concerto Tajogaite was inspired by La Palma’s 85-day-long volcanic eruption in 2021. Together, they’ll bring volcanoes and other awe-inspiring natural phenomena to life, illuminating the forces that shape our world and setting the stage for Gustavo’s UK premiere in the evening’s concert.

Please note tickets for this event are free.
