Dr Catherine C. Høgel

Catherine is a doctor who is currently taking time out of medicine to raise a growing family. Alongside experience in the corporate world she has also served on the boards of a number of arts organisations and charities, both in the UK and internationally. These include as a Trustee of the Dunard Fund, the Colburn School of Performing Arts and Awards for Young Musicians, and as a member of the Honorary Board of the Royal Opera House.

Prior to succeeding Victoria Robey as Chair of the LPO Board in May 2022, she was Vice-Chair for three years, as well as a member of the Orchestra’s Advisory Council. A keen musician herself, Catherine can be found singing, conducting and playing chamber music.
