Marie-Laure Favre-Gilly de Varennes de Bueil

Marie-Laure trained in M&A at Morgan Grenfell PLC, London. She then became an equity fund manager at Gartmore Investment Management under the leadership of Lord Myners.

She also worked in Paris as an Equity Research Analyst for Natwest Securities-Deutsche Bank. She is currently European Director for Humetrix – a company that develops innovative consumer-centred IT solutions – and has been part of the leadership team since 2013. She studied law and for a Masters degree specialising in the legal aspects of international finance at the London School of Economics. She supports a wide range of cultural and educational institutions and her interests include music, ballet, skiing, yoga and contemporary arts.
