London Philharmonic Orchestra

Clarinet virtuoso and composer Kinan Azmeh made his UK debut with the LPO in January 2023, performing his own Clarinet Concerto at the Royal Festival Hall with conductor Enrique Mazzola. The piece draws on Arabic dance rhythms like Katakufti and Nawari, blending Syrian and Western styles into a semi-improvised, emotionally charged work.
