Laura Vallejo
Viola
Four-times recipient of a scholarship from the Spanish Government, Laura Vallejo obtained a Master of Music degree in viola performance from Yale University (USA), and completed her musical education at The Cleveland Institute of Music in 2003.
An active chamber musician, Laura has performed extensively throughout Spain, the UK and the USA. She made her solo debut in 1999 with the Amalur Chamber Orchestra and has been invited to participate in numerous festivals including Tanglewood, Kent/Blossom Music Festival, Pacific Music Festival and Spoleto.
Since 2004 Laura has been a member of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, performing with internationally acclaimed conductors. She has also served as Guest Principal Viola with the Orchestra of English National Ballet, Orquesta Sinfónica de Navarra and Aarhus Symfoniorkester (Denmark).
She is a teacher at the CIM Tarazona (Spain), and the Matisse International Music Course in Madrid.
