Tonight he shares the bill with conductor Jaime Martín and the fabulous Ballet Flamenco de Andalucía in a concert that sets Rodrigo’s and Falla’s ravishing evocations of Spain alongside the myths and magic of Mexico: the legend of a mysterious blue deer, retold in full orchestral colour by Gabriela Ortiz. Songs of sorrow, shimmering visions, and the eternal dance of love and fate. What better setting for the world’s favourite guitar concerto than an evening filled with passionate sights and sounds?
