The LPO will close Bath Mozartfest 2026 alongside the wonderful Adam Hickox and Till Fellner. The concert will open with Beethoven’s ‘Leonore Overture No. 3’ from the composer’s only opera, Fidelio, before pianist Till Fellner makes his final appearance of a busy festival in Mozart’s majestic Piano Concerto No. 22 in E flat, with its deeply emotional slow movement. Then it’s all change, moving into the sunlit warmth of Brahms’s pastoral Symphony No. 2, one of the great triumphs of the Romantic era and a wonderfully optimistic way to end Bath Mozartfest 2026.
