Claudia joined the LPO in December 2022. She has previously worked with orchestras such as the London Symphony, BBC Concert, English Chamber and New Zealand Symphony orchestras on a freelance basis.

Originally from Aotearoa, New Zealand, Claudia began playing the piano at the age of two and violin at four. In 2018 she graduated from Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in violin and piano performance, before moving to London the following year to pursue further study. During her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, Claudia was accepted onto the LPO Foyle Future Firsts Scheme in 2020/21 and began freelancing with the Orchestra during this time. Claudia completed her postgraduate study in violin performance at the Royal Academy of Music in 2022, under the tutelage of Professor György Pauk.

A keen chamber musician, Claudia performs regularly in London in a variety of ensembles, including with her string quartet, Calathea Quartet. They have been announced as Britten Pears Young Artists 2023 and during the year will be touring New Zealand  supported by Chamber Music New Zealand.
