YolanDa Brown OBE

YolanDa Brown is a MOBO-Award winning saxophonist, presenter and broadcaster. She received an OBE in the 2022 New Year Honours for her services to music, music education and broadcasting.

YolanDa is chair of Youth Music and an ambassador for the Prince’s Trust and London Music Fund. She also launched the London Saxophone Festival in 2018; has been invited to sit on panels for the PRS Foundation and the Ivors; and delivered keynotes for Music Mark, ABRSM and music hubs across the country.

She was invited by the Government and Department for Education to sit on the advisory board of the National Plan for Music Education. YolanDa is the recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Arts from the University of East London.

She currently hosts the LPO Offstage podcast, which has just begun its fourth series.
