BrightSparks Key Stage 1 Concert: Beegu

Ticket applications are now open for our Key Stage 1 BrightSparks concerts!

Taking place on Thursday 4 March at the Royal Festival Hall in London’s Southbank Centre, presenter Lucy Hollins joins the musicians of the LPO and our conductor Shira Samuels-Shragg to tell the enchanting story of Beegu, based on Alexis Deacon’s much-loved book about friendship, kindness, and belonging.

Beegu is not supposed to be on Earth. She is lost. She is a friendly little creature, but the Earth People don’t seem very welcoming at all. However, so far she has only met the BIG ones. The little ones are a different matter …

Key Stage 1 children will experience the thrilling sound of the full orchestra playing music by Bartók, Bizet, Jessie Montgomery, John Williams and more. With lots of ways to join in, including a brand new song that’s sure to become a new favourite, this is set to be a captivating first orchestral experience for your class.

Tickets are £3 for students, free for accompanying adults, and include free resources for teachers.
